Keur Bamboung
The diversity and the richness of the ecosystems of the basin of the Delta of Saloum were worthy enough to be set up in the ‘Reserve of the Biosphere’ by UNESCO on March 16, 1981. It is located in the southern part of this delta on approximately 7,000 ha of area of Surface Navy Protected of Bamboung (AMP).

From the airport take the N1 to go through Toubacouta Gambia. At the entrance of Toubacouta, read Keur Bamboung panel, follow these signs that lead you to the pier to take the boat which crossed the island of Keur Bamboung, then a chariot pulled by a donkey or by a horse to camp.
Getting there (local language)
De l'aéroport, prendre la RN1 pour aller en Gambie via Toubacouta. A l'entrée de Toubacouta, lire sur le panneau Keur Bamboung, suivez ces panneaux qui vous mènent jusqu'à l'embarcadère pour prendre la pirogue qui fait la traversée de l'île de Keur Bamboung, puis une charette tirée soit par un âne, soit par un cheval jusqu'au campement
